What we do
Precision reproduction photography for artists, collectors, publishers and insurers — capturing every detail as nature intended.
Service 01 — Submissions
Entering an art competition means putting your work in front of judges who will never see the original piece. The submission photograph is your only advocate — and it must capture every nuance of colour, texture and scale that you've put into the work.
Laneway Digital ensures your submissions capture all the richness and subtleties of the original. Using calibrated lighting, X-Rite colour profiles and high-resolution capture, we produce images that stand up to the scrutiny of any selection panel.
We have experience working with artists submitting across Australia and internationally. We understand deadlines, and will deliver in the exact format required.

Service 02 — Print
If you are looking to sell or build a profile around your work, galleries and media houses will request photographs that are authentic and true to life. A poorly reproduced image can undermine even the most exceptional piece.
Laneway Digital will reproduce your art in an authentic, true-to-life copy. We have consulted and contributed to many art books and would be happy to assist in the creation of yours — from single-artist monographs to large gallery catalogues — with print-ready files that meet your publisher's exact specifications.
Files are supplied with full colour profiles, optimised for offset and digital print, as well as web and social media use.

Service 03 — Archive
To protect against financial loss and preserve your artwork and antiques for future generations, Laneway Digital offers reproduction services for private and corporate collections, museums, galleries and artists.
A comprehensive photographic record is the foundation of any insurance claim. Our documentation packages include multiple angles, detail shots of signatures and condition notes, and metadata-tagged files for easy archiving.
We work with insurers, estate managers and private collectors to ensure that every significant piece in a collection is accurately recorded before the unthinkable happens.
Document your collectionThe method
Every job, regardless of size, is approached with the same level of precision. Nothing is rushed; nothing is automated.
Using the X-Rite colour suite, every capture is profiled and proofed against the original under controlled light.
Files are captured at maximum resolution — suitable for billboard, monograph, archival, or web, without loss of detail.
Competition deadlines and publishing schedules can't wait. We work efficiently to deliver your files when you need them.
